Maclaren Triumph Stroller Review

Lightweight Stroller,review
Maclaren Triumph

The Maclaren Triumph
is a lightweight umbrella stroller that is designed for on-the-go parents who like to travel, run errands, or go to the shopping mall. The narrow frame makes is perfect for navigating narrow store aisles and public transit.Weighing 13.6 lbs, it is very easy to carry over your shoulder. It also has a convenient one-hand one-step fold that you can do while holding your child.

The 5″ wheels provide great maneuverability as long as you stay on the flat surface. Since there is no suspension system, taking on the rougher terrain will be bumpy. The roomy seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 55 lbs.
I gave this stroller 4.5 out of 5 stars because of the small canopy, small recline, and hard-to-operate recline system.

Pros

Small canopy. The canopy is small, provides little sun coverage, and does NOT have a peekaboo window. It’s attached to the frame and does not convert into a ‘floating canopy’. Overall, it’s a little disappointing.

Roomy seat.
It is 13″ wide with 18″ seat back and a measurement of 28″ from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy. The seat has a strap-recline system with a small recline that does NOT go flat. I found the unique strap system hard to do and wish it was the same as on other strollers. The seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 55 lbs.

Small basket. The basket will probably fit some baby items, but that’s it. It’s not only small, but is also hard to access especially if the seat is reclined.

Cons
- No adjustable foot rest. The reason I am listing it here, is because the Quest model has it. It would be an easy addition.
- Small canopy. It might be considered a good size canopy for an umbrella model, but if you compare it to a full size stroller, it’s small. I think Maclaren should just make it into a ‘floating canopy’ so it can follow the sun.
