Chicco Echo Stroller Review

Chicco Echo,stroller,review
Chicco Echo
The first time I saw Chicco Echo stroller. My first impression was what a cool modern looking stroller! I absolutely loved the bright fresh color of the seat and the frame. I think that the combination of the black and color frame together with the black handle bars give it a very sleek and stylish look. Have you noticed that more and more companies have been doing color frames lately? I think it’s a new hot thing.
The Chicco Echo is a lightweight stroller that is very basic, but is very affordable. It retails for only $99.99 which makes it perfect for traveling. Let’s say you are going to visit your relatives in another state and you want something lightweight and compact that you can take with you on the plane and later on to the restaurant, shopping or park, but you don’t want to spend a lot of money, Chicco Echo would be a good choice. Also, if it gets damaged at the airport you are not going to be too upset because you only spend $99.99

Features
-Small canopy. The canopy is on the smaller side and there is no peekaboo window.

-Roomy seat. The seat is pretty roomy with plenty of headroom for an older child. It is 12.5″ wide with 18″ seat back and a measurement of 26″ from the bottom of the seat to the top of the canopy. It is suitable for kids from 6 months and up to 40 lbs. Because many umbrella stroller don’t have a recline at all, I was happy to see a deep recline. It’s deep enough for a nap or a diaper change.

-5 point harness. There is an adjustable padded 5 point harness with a tricky buckle so your child will not be able to escape.

-Adjustable leg rest. There is an adjustable leg rest that goes up or down. There is also a leg rest attached to the frame for an older child.
-Easy fold. It folds like most umbrella strollers into a neat compact package. It has an automatic lock.

Cons

-Weight. I know it weighs only 17 lbs, but for the features you are getting, I think it could be a little lighter.

-Small canopy. The canopy is small, does not have a peekaboo window and does not have a “follow-the-sun” option. A simple addition of a pop-out sunvisor could be an easy fix.

-Small plastic wheels. By far the biggest minus of this stroller! They are small and plastic which makes it very hard to maneuver on uneven surface or even on flat surface if you have an older child in the seat.

You can see the details of the purchase on Amazon.

Maclaren Triumph Stroller Review

Lightweight Stroller,review
Maclaren Triumph

The Maclaren Triumph
is a lightweight umbrella stroller that is designed for on-the-go parents who like to travel, run errands, or go to the shopping mall. The narrow frame makes is perfect for navigating narrow store aisles and public transit.Weighing 13.6 lbs, it is very easy to carry over your shoulder. It also has a convenient one-hand one-step fold that you can do while holding your child.

The 5″ wheels provide great maneuverability as long as you stay on the flat surface. Since there is no suspension system, taking on the rougher terrain will be bumpy. The roomy seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 55 lbs.
I gave this stroller 4.5 out of 5 stars because of the small canopy, small recline, and hard-to-operate recline system.

Pros

Small canopy. The canopy is small, provides little sun coverage, and does NOT have a peekaboo window. It’s attached to the frame and does not convert into a ‘floating canopy’. Overall, it’s a little disappointing.

Roomy seat.
It is 13″ wide with 18″ seat back and a measurement of 28″ from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy. The seat has a strap-recline system with a small recline that does NOT go flat. I found the unique strap system hard to do and wish it was the same as on other strollers. The seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 55 lbs.

Small basket. The basket will probably fit some baby items, but that’s it. It’s not only small, but is also hard to access especially if the seat is reclined.

Cons
- No adjustable foot rest. The reason I am listing it here, is because the Quest model has it. It would be an easy addition.
- Small canopy. It might be considered a good size canopy for an umbrella model, but if you compare it to a full size stroller, it’s small. I think Maclaren should just make it into a ‘floating canopy’ so it can follow the sun.

Mountain Buggy Nano Stroller Review

The Mountain Buggy Nano

is the best travel stroller ever made.I saw many different stroller and I can tell you for sure that  Buggy Nano them all when it comes to traveling.
It’s super light, super compact, and you can even turn it into a travel system. I know, it’s hard to believe that this 13 lbs stroller can handle a car seat. But that’s not all.
It’s so compact it can even fit into an overhead luggage compartment on a plane.
If you’ve been reading my reviews, you probably know that I have a bad back, so for me the ability to place my child from the plane straight into a stroller is a life saver, or I would even say a back saver. LOL. Once you unfold this tiny little package, it turns into a regular size stroller. This is a great buggy for going to the mall, grocery store, doctor’s office, theme parks and using public transit. While it’s perfect for traveling and running errands around town, I would’t really recommend it for long walks at the park, because of the small wheels. The seat is very room with plenty of head room, so you can really use this stroller from birth and through the toddler years. It also features medium size basket, rear-wheel suspension, adjustable leg rest, flip-flop-friendly brake, adjustable 3-point harness, nice recline and easy fold.I gave it 5 out of 5 star because I absolutely love the compactness, lightweight, travel system ability, and reasonable price.Of course there are some drawbacks like no cover for the rear mesh window, small canopy, and low handle bar position, but I think that the pros definitely outweigh the cons in this case.
